Mae’s a tried and true seamstress. She taught you some basics, and you still have the cinch bag and knitted washcloths to prove it. She gave you the pearls of wisdom that life will be easier if you can sew on a button, bake the perfect chocolate chip cookie, and not waste your time dating anyone you couldn’t see yourself marrying.
We are absolutely thrilled and honored to offer a small collection of custom mahjong mats, made from quilts that belonged to a grandmother who loved her darling grandchildren through their childhoods with these quilts as the backdrop for sleepovers, ice cream parlors, pillow forts, and picnics.
Each quilt has been hand sewn by our granny girl…just kidding! They’re machine-made vintage quilts that have been converted into mahjong mats by a talented professional tailor.

Each quilt ranges in size, and is roughly (35 x 35 inches). The table in each picture is available for size reference and measures 36 x 36 inches.
